Former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo says he has forgiven his former vice-president and the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar just as he described him as “president-to-be.” Obasanjo said this while addressing journalists after the closed -door meeting with the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate. Also at the meeting were the Bishop of the Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), David Oyedepo; Islamic cleric, Ahmed Gumi; and the Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Matthew Kukah and Senator Ben Bruce

A young man name  Kamaludden Bashir,has commence trekking from Zaria to Abuja in support of the PDP Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar . BASHIR said to newsmen that he planned to get to Abuja in five days and then back to Zaria.

President Muhammadu Buhari has become the APC Presidential flag bearer with a total of 14.8 million About 7,000 delegates affirmed the President as the party’s flagbearer at the APC’s national convention which was held at the Eagles Square in Abuja on Saturday. The move comes eight days after the APC held its presidential primary in the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. At the convention, it was affirmed that President Buhari who was the sole aspirant in the race got 14,842,072 votes during the primary. Delegates first confirmed that the results from the primary in their respective states before Buhari affirming Buhari’s emergence as the party’s flagbearer.
