The Delta State Police Command has arrested a man, Ifeanyi Akpa, from Onicha Igbeze, Ebonyi State, alongside his wife, Ngozi, for assaulting his 13-year-old nephew, Chigozie Ogbu, who lives with them.


The arrest came after one Comrade Friday Okpako alleged that there were several reports of severe maltreatment and corporal punishment meted on the boy daily, by the couple who have four children.
