Let me play the Devil's Advocate. This is really no news. I will tell you why. What I see playing out here is a mind game on Nigerians and the world. Taraba is a state in the Northern part of Nigeria with a very good mix of ethnic groups and tribes that are definitely non-Hausa/non-Fulani especially. Jolly Name is supposedly a "Christain." Right? The REAL NEWS, the acid test for the Buhari government on its well-publicised war against corruption will be to put on public trial a former governor of a Northern State of FULANI EXTRACTION AND A MUSLIM or the most corrupt civil servant in Nigeria history who is on the Interpol wanted list, Alhaji Maina, a Fulani Muslim, and jail him without an option of fine to at least 14 years. That is when the shot has hit the fan. My opinion. Please don't hate. Just reason!

All the ex Governors that pauperized their states from 1999 till date must also be jailed. They are all guilty and must serve their time in Jail. This is the way to go. Even though it doesn't guarantee Buhari's reelection.

Why not tell your readers that he received 1 year in prison for each of the 14 charges he was found guiltyof and as it usually goes, the sentences will run concurrently and not simultaneously. As he's serving one sentence he's serving the rest and will end up spending just one year in prison.

God bless you Justice Banjoko, this is the very first time am seeing one of those that destroyed our Great country getting sentenced without bailing or fine options. I wish and hope we will see his pics in prison too.. this things need to be put out on all medias so others can learn. Buhari came to govt spreading lame messages like, come and drop the money you stole and go, hell No, go where? After millions of people have died as a result of diff forms of hardship? We need more of this.
