A dismissed soldier terrorizing Ebute Meta, Lagos, has finally met his Waterloo, after months of harassing unsuspecting residents of the area, with the help of his former colleague who his still in active service. The suspect identified by his nickname “One bullet” was arrested after he went to raid some suspected yahoo boys with the help of some SARS officers. After the raid, they extorted their victims of N220,000 and an iPhone X. However, Huskey, a friend of the victims, reported the matter at the Bonny Camp soldier barracks and some officers where deployed to take up the issue. One bullet was subsequently arrested and now cooling his feet in detention.

Just opposite the scene of Thursday’s Lagos tanker fire accident, another car accident occurred on Friday, involving a yellow and black painted commercial bus and a white bus. According to the Rapid Response Squad, the accident occurred as a result of the recklessness of the  Danfo  driver who drove against traffic. “Due to the driver’s speed, he hit the Toyota Hiace bus coming into Lagos on the Otedola Bridge,” police said The police revealed that the buses have been removed from the scene and injured passengers have been taken to the hospital. Three staffs of UBA  at the Ogboefere branch in Enugu/Onitsha expressway reportedly lost their lives after their car was swept away by the flood resulting from a downpour on Thursday. According to online reports, the deceased identified as  Eby, Uju,  and  Ezenwa  were heading home when their car was swept away by the flood which many say was caused as a result of blocked drainage channels. Friends and family have taken to their social media accounts to mourn them. See full photos below.

No actress Akilipa has again been arrested for trying to gain unlawful access into a house in Magodo Shangisha, Lagos.  This is coming 3 years after she was arrested while breaking into a beauty lounge with a master key, after closing hours in Yaba, where she worked and four years after she was beaten to coma for a similar offence. This means this would be the third time the yoruba actress would be caught stealing. The actress was in the news in February 2013, when it was reported that she was arrested for robbery by the police in Alade, in Somolu area of Lagos State. She was sent to the Kirikiri prison and after a few months there, she regained her freedom, precisely in November, 2013. On Sunday Morning of January 12, 2014, she was again caught trying to steal with a bunch of master keys hidden in her brassiere at a house in Magodo phaseII.
