Few day ago First Lady, Aisha Buhari set twitter abuzz when she re-tweeted some video posts of Senators Ben Murray-Bruce and and IsahMisau, criticising President Buhari over the recent appointments and failure to protect lives and properties of Nigerians. While some people, including Reuben Abati, said her action smacks of treachery and disloyalty,  it fetched her praise from others like Dr. Aminu Gamawa. The Special Adviser to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Commerce, Deji Tinubu, has died. According to reports, Deji was at a novelty march being played in Epe, yesterday January 25th, when he slumped. He was immediately rushed to a hospital in Epe where he was confirmed dead. Reason for his sudden death is yet unknown. Deji and members of the state executive were in Epe for a retreat. The deceased was formerly the Chairman, Lagos Sports Commission and Special Adviser to the Governor on Sports. He was later made the Special Adviser on Sports alone. At the recent Cabinet reshuffle by Governor Ambode, Deji was redeployed to Commerce and Industry as Special Adviser before his death. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo   has warned   President Muhammadu Buhari   against participating in the 2019 presidential election. In a strong worded press statement released, the former President appealed to the president not to over push his luck or over tax the patience and endurance of Nigerians, adding that its time for Buhari to honourably consider a deserved rest. In his letter, Obasanjo accused the president of Nepotism. He berated the APC governors that went to the state house on January 12th to endorse President Buhari to run for a second term.
